CSS border-left-width

The CSS border-left-width property allows you to set the width of a bottom border.

You can also use border-width to set the width for all sides of your element.

Note: You will also need to specify border-left-color and border-left-style before your border-left-width is displayed.

Syntax: border-left-width: <border-width>
Possible Values:
  • thin
  • medium
  • thick
  • length (for example, 1px)
  • inherit
Initial Value: Medium
Applies to: All elements.
Inherited: Yes
Media: Visual
Example: div.border-width {border-left-width:thick}
